Lynda Paine started her career as a “Homeguide” progressing through the ranks at well known established agencies in her home town of Worthing. “After leaving work to take a career break I was approached by my brother to assist him with his successful growing agency,” Lynda explains. “After gathering over 10 years of experience I took the plunge and opened my own agency in Hove.” An agency which has now grown a well recognised presence in the busy cosmopolitan area of Church Road. With a career spanning over 2 decades Lynda has a wealth of experience in all aspects of letting, her hard work and commitment to the business have paid dividends as her and her team have gone from strength to strength and are now one of Brighton and Hove’s leading agents. Having a keen passion for the job and having flair for Landlord and Tenant matching, they provide a service without complication, being friendly, down to earth and approachable, this has definitely been the key to Lynda’s success, coupled with of course her fantastic team. Something which has led the majority of business to come from referrals and satisfied customers who go on to recommend them. Over the years Lynda has seen many changes in the letting industry and like any business the recession was an unwelcome drawback, nevertheless they have continued to expand and look forward to the next challenge. “We are conscious of our carbon footprint too” says Lynda, “and over the last couple of years endeavoured to use only recycled products, particularly as letting is such a paperwork orientated business.” Lynda and her team also show their support for the wider community each year by attending local charity events such as the “Windmill walk” for Macmillan Cancer Support and the pending “Stanmer Stagger” with Brighton and Hove Estate Agents in aid of Shelter. Of course everyone needs time out and Lynda enjoys spending any spare time with her horse “Shanty”, having always had a passion for horses she is enjoying this wonderful hobby to the full. “Being lucky enough to share my passion with my youngest daughter is fantastic,” she explains. “After spending so many years as a working Mum we now treasure the time we spend together.” With her oldest daughter studying accountancy and hoping to join her and the team shortly Lynda is a real success story and hopefully an encouragement to the “work hard play hard ethic”. |
